Hana yori dango is a Japanese Shoujo Manga series written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio. The story is set in Eitoku Academy, an elite schoolhouse for children from rich families. It follows pb protagonist Tsukushi Makino, a student from a working-course family unit, and the members of Eitoku Academy's elite Bloom Four, unremarkably known as the "F4". The manga has been adjusted into a 51-episode anime series (which closely follows the manga) and an anime films. Eitoku Academy (英徳学園Eitoku Gakuen) is a prestigious school that caters to children from rich, high-society families. Hence, Tsukushi, who is one of the students that comes from a poor family unit, is considered past others to be the "weed" of the school. The school is ruled past the "Bloom Four" group, more normally known as the F4.
