How Do I Disassociate Album Art From the Song

Perform the post-obit steps to remove the album fine art.
Step 1:
I would suggest you lot to alter the view choice in Windows Explorer.
Follow the steps mentioned below.
a. Open up Windows Explorer.
b. Select Organize driblet downwardly arrow.
c. Select Folder and Search Options.
d. Select View Tab.

f. Un-cheque side by side Hide Protected Operating Organisation files (recommended).
Note: redo all the changes done to the Folder Options to default, once the troubleshooting is done.
Step two:
Follow the steps to delete the album details.
a. Open the folder that contains the music files.
b. I would suggest you to delete the following files from the folders.
AlbumArt_{GUID}_Large.jpg
AlbumArt_{GUID}_Small.jpg
Binder.jpg images
Note: I would suggest you lot to delete these files from all the folders which take the music files.
Footstep three:
I would propose you to rebuild the Windows Media Histrion Database.
Follow the steps.
a. Exit Windows Media Thespian.
b. Click First, click Run, type %userprofile%\Appdata\
c. Open Local folder and open Microsoft folder.
d. Select the Media Actor binder, and and then click Delete on the File menu.
e. Restart Windows Media Player.
Note: Windows Media Actor automatically rebuilds the database.
At present check whether you take the anthology in the Windows Media Player.
Of import: Remember to disable "retrieve media information" and other similar options in WMP(Windows Media Player) to forestall it from downloading the same thing again from internet.

You take GOT to exist kidding. Not but do I have to remove the fine art from each folder individually, but I take to REBUILD my database AGAIN(!?) subsequently? NO WAY! I just rebuilt (several days of typing the vocal information manually!) the database trying to resolve that revocation and renewal processing mistake (All the same unresolved on this end) and unfortunately got it all back! Information technology would be easier to become a different actor that Volition go rid of it (and the revocation and renewal processing fault) more hands than deal with all that BS.
Is there a diffferent option?

I tried that, information technology did non piece of work to go rid of any of it. It as well would not help when I sync it to my MP3 histrion, that is the OTHER reason I want to PERMANENTLY be rid of it all. Any other options?

If he you are not willing to go through all of your albums manually, yous might have to download a third-party tag editor of some kind to exist able to edit the metadata on your album artwork permanently.

Manually!? I already tried a few and got them dorsum on next reboot (Yes, the "options" settings were unchecked) That is why I said it didn't work! I accept NO IDEA what a tag editor even IS, so I have no intention of screwing up my estimator that way.
Not willing? Yous say that every bit if I have iii or four albums, that is not true, we are discussing several hundred folders that I already had to type in the vocal/album information manually into the library for.
I will just get a unlike histrion program since WMP is becoming increasingly more difficult to work with.

I am also trying, without ANY success, to remove the really stupid album art ****! And Micros#!$ keeps wondering why people hate their stuff. If but I could install Media Actor 10 or 11 on Windows 7! Am keeping XP on my other motorcar!!!!!!!

Hi...saw your similar post on another thread and would exist interested to know a bit more about your outcome. I have W7 and WMP 12 and have absolutely no trouble keeping anthology art in order, so if y'all are willing to dig a bit deeper get back to me. Thanks-Ric.
